The dismantling machine removes various electronic components (such as capacitors, resistors, IC chips, connectors, etc.) from the circuit board. These components contain many precious metals and other recyclable materials. Through dismantling, the circuit board is separated and broken down into smaller parts, providing a basis for subsequent shredding and fine recycling.

At the same time, the circuit board may contain some harmful substances, such as lead, mercury, etc. The dismantling machine can separate these harmful substances without destroying the precious electronic components, reducing pollution to the environment.

The shredder is used for the initial crushing of waste circuit boards, breaking large pieces of material into smaller fragments for easier subsequent processing.

Through mechanical shearing and tearing actions, the shredder reduces circuit boards into smaller fragments– about 2-3 cm pieces. During this process, metals and non-metals are still mixed. Shredders typically include a primary shredder for coarse crushing and a secondary shredder for further size reduction.

The crusher further processes the shredded circuit board fragments to achieve a smaller particle size.

The crusher uses high-speed rotating blades or grinding wheels to further pulverize the fragments into powder– about 20 mesh. This step is crucial because only when the materials are finely ground into small enough particles can the subsequent separation process efficiently separate metals from non-metallic components

Sorting equipment classifies the crushed and ground mixed materials, separating different types of materials such as metals and resin powder.

Sorting equipment typically includes magnetic separators and electrostatic separators. Magnetic separators are used to separate ferromagnetic metals such as iron; electrostatic separators use differences in electrical conductivity to separate metals and non-metals using electrostatic forces.

The air separator further refines the classification by using air flow to separate lightweight resin powder from heavier metal powder.

The air separator takes advantage of the density differences in materials. Under the action of airflow, lightweight resin powder is blown away, while heavier metal powder falls down, achieving separation.

Dust removal equipment captures and removes the dust generated during the shredding, grinding, and sorting processes, ensuring a clean and environmentally friendly production line.

Dust removal equipment typically includes baghouse dust collectors, cyclone dust collectors, and wet scrubbers. Baghouse dust collectors capture dust through filter bags; cyclone dust collectors use rotating airflows to separate dust from the air; wet scrubbers capture dust by spraying a mist of water.
